Account Identity

Lorekeeper does not require you to create an account in the app. If you sign in to Apple Game Center on your device, we receive your Game Center player identifier from Apple's Game Center service. This identifier is a pseudonymous value used to back up your in-app progress and purchases to our server so they survive a reinstall or new device. We do not request or receive your real name, email address, phone number, or physical address.

Information We Collect

Lorekeeper collects the following information:

• Game Center player identifier (pseudonymous), country code derived from your device locale, and an optional display name (alias) you set in Game Center.
• In-app purchase transaction records (Apple transaction IDs, product IDs, purchase status, amount of in-game gems granted). We do not store the raw Apple receipt; only a SHA-256 hash is retained for audit and fraud-prevention purposes.
• Cloud save data: your game progress, gem and ticket balances, achievements, daily streak, daily reward state, and app settings. This is stored as a JSON payload tied to your Game Center identifier.
• Push notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging token) so we can send game-related notifications. Sent only if you grant notification permission.
• Rewarded ad grants (Appodeal impression IDs and reward amounts) so we can credit free gems earned by watching rewarded video ads.
• Advertising identifiers and device information via Appodeal (IDFA, IP address, device model and OS version). Collection is gated by Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.
• App usage analytics (anonymous event identifiers, screen views, sessions) via Firebase Analytics.
• Crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics. These contain stack traces and device state at the moment of an error. No personal identifiers are deliberately attached.

How We Use Information

Collected data is used to:

• Authenticate your device session and back up game progress to the cloud so it can be restored on a new device.
• Verify in-app purchases with Apple, prevent purchase fraud, and credit gems to the correct player.
• Credit rewarded ad views to the correct player without client-side tampering.
• Send relevant push notifications (only with your permission).
• Display advertisements appropriate for the player and platform.
• Diagnose crashes and improve app reliability.

Server-Side Storage

Game progress, in-app purchase records, push notification tokens, and rewarded ad grants are stored on our backend servers (Cloudflare Workers, D1 database, and KV namespace) and linked to your Game Center pseudonymous identifier, not to your real name, email, or other personally identifying information. Raw Apple receipts are never retained; only a SHA-256 hash is stored for audit purposes.

Lorekeeper integrates with the following third-party services:

• Apple Game Center (Apple Inc.) for identity verification, see Apple Privacy.
• Cloudflare (Workers, D1, KV) as our server infrastructure subprocessor, see Cloudflare Privacy.
• Firebase (Google LLC) for analytics, remote configuration, crash reporting, and push messaging, see Firebase Privacy.
• Appodeal for advertising mediation, see Appodeal Privacy.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Right of access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Right to deletion: Request that we delete your data from our backend.
• Right to opt out: Opt out of personalized advertising via the in-app consent dialog or by turning off Game Center sign-in.

These rights are recognized under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for residents of the European Union, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for California residents, and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) for residents of Turkey, among others.

Children's Privacy

Lorekeeper is rated 12+ on the App Store and is suitable for older children and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please email us at ozgurustundev@gmail.com and we will promptly delete it.
